Nathaniel Stern is an artist, writer, and teacher, an NEA, Fulbright, and NSF grant recipient, a collaborator, interventionist, and public citizen. He has worked on projects ranging from ecological, participatory, and online performances, interactive, generative, and mixed reality environments, to experimental prints, sculptures, videos, NFTs, and hybrid forms. He is the author of several books, articles, and chapters on art, ecology, and technology, a full Professor of Art and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM), and Director of the UWM Startup Challenge at the Lubar Entrepreneurship Center. Stern recently received an NEA grant to be Executive Director of the Autism Brilliance Lab for Entrepreneurship, believes AI and Web3 are changing pretty much everything, and has 5 (yes, 5) kids.
